Trainee Litigation Paralegal

A prestigious specialist litigation firm is seeking a Trainee Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. The successful Trainee Litigation Paralegal will join a forward-thinking and collaborative team working across a broad range of litigation matters, including:

• Property Litigation
• Commercial Litigation
• Construction Disputes
• Employment Disputes
• Debt Recovery

This Trainee Litigation Paralegal role offers exceptional training and development. Initially, you will support experienced Solicitors and Partners before progressing to manage your own caseload under supervision. The firm provides structured training designed to help a Trainee Litigation Paralegal develop strong litigation experience and long-term career progression. Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing files
• Providing quotes to prospective clients
• Conducting AML and client due diligence checks
• Attending client meetings with senior lawyers
• Preparing bundles, scanning and filing documents
• Assisting with drafting legal documents
• Conducting legal research
• Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries

Candidate Profile To be considered for this Trainee Litigation Paralegal position, you will ideally have:

• A Law degree with strong academics (minimum 2:1, ideally a First)
• Strong A-Level results (A/A preferred)
• Ideally completed a Masters and/or begun the SQE
• A genuine interest in Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills and confidence using modern legal systems
• Strong links to the Brighton / Sussex area
