Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Senior Associate for a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Guernsey or Jersey. This role involves working within the People Pillar of the firm and focuses on recruiting staff at all levels to meet business needs. The contracted hours are 37.5 per week.
Job Duties- Aligned to the talent acquisition plan, recruiting to fill agreed target numbers.
- Responding to experienced hire vacancies by obtaining a full understanding of the role and its requirements.
- Identifying appropriate recruitment sources, including agencies, Global Mobility, social media, and job websites.
- Screening applicants and managing the interview-to-hire process, supporting candidates with timely and appropriate communication and feedback.
- Conducting and participating in 1st and 2nd stage interviews, ensuring both stages align with organisational values.
- Extending offers and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
- Reviewing the administrative recruitment activities for accuracy.
- Attending and supporting recruitment events and activities.
- Responsible for obtaining relevant work permits/visas to on-board staff, providing clear guidance to candidates throughout the process.
- Oversight of all onboarding activities, ensuring a consistent and professional joining experience.
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are fit for purpose and continuously looking to make improvements.
- Collating and checking recruitment information for weekly and monthly staff and management reports.
- CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent).
- Must hold a Permanent Resident Certificate, Family Member Resident Permit, or possess 'Entitled' or 'Entitled to Work' status.
- Experience in interviewing, assessment, and selection, including CV screening.
- Familiarity with Human Capital technologies (e.g., Workday).
- Strong understanding of the talent landscape and market.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive, self motivated individual who can take responsibility for their own work.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively across various levels of seniority and experience.
- Previous experience in Human Capital, with a focus on recruitment/talent acquisition.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and problem solve.
- Appreciation of diversity and an inclusive mindset.
- Resilient and able to cope well under pressure.
