Join a leading independent telecommunication and technology company as an IT Support Technician.

Job Overview:
We are hiring an Installation Technician to support desktop hardware installations and IT equipment setup across multiple sites. This is a mobile role requiring occasional travel, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment.

Location: On-site - 2 Greenmarket Street, Dundee DD1 4QB (with travel to Thurso)

Daily Rate:

• £17.30 per hour via umbrella
• £13.33 per hour via PAYE

Contract Length: 20-Oct-2025 to 31-Mar-2026 Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities:

• Unbox and install desktop hardware and peripherals
• Connect power and network cables, and perform power-on self-tests
• Initiate automated builds and basic scripted post-login configurations
• Stock and maintain smart lockers with IT equipment for BT staff
• Provide AV room support as needed
• Travel to Thurso and other locations as required
• Work variable shift patterns based on business needs

Key Requirements:

• Valid driving licence (essential for mobile role)
• Basic technical skills in desktop hardware installation
• Ability to follow scripted installation and configuration steps
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting and setting up equipment
• Flexibility to work different shifts if required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Additional Information:

• A full UK driving licence is mandatory.
• 5 days onsite. Monday - Friday.
