Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Transformation Programme Manager (Collections) for a 6 months contract based in either London, Edinburgh or Birmingham (ad hoc travels).

Purpose of the role:
As Transformation Programme Manager (Collections) you will lead and coordinate a major digital transformation programme within the Collections space. This initiative is transitioning from a telephony-heavy environment to a modern, mobile-first digital experience.

What you'll do:

  • Act as programme office, bridging business and technology delivery.
  • Align workstreams, consolidate progress.
  • Manage business change.
  • Support evolution of communication strategy (email, letter, text, and new channels).
  • Oversee development of web-based services/APIs integrated with mobile journeys.
  • Ensure colleague experience is considered in transformation planning.

The skills you'll need:

  • Proven leadership in digital transformation, within Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of governance and regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with technology delivery models and transformation processes.
  • High-level understanding of Collections.
  • Exposure to regulated communications (eg, letters as a regulatory requirement).
  • Experience with mobile and web journey development.
