The Company

Part of a global construction business with group turnover in excess of £5million and a big focus on internal movement and progression. This team offers excellent technical training and a supportive company culture, making it the perfect opportunity for a junior sales candidate to grow in a technical sales role.

The Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will have the chance to develop relationships with specifiers, contractors and project team across the North of England. Managing a range of existing and new customer opportunities you will target M&E Consultants M&E Contractors and some end users within commercial buildings. This role is ideal for someone with a technical or business degree who is looking to progress their career within a manufacturer. You will be trained on the specification sales process if you have not been part of this before and there will be coaching around delivering CPD presentations and working with building regulations. Lots of coaching and sales support is provided. More experienced technical sales candidates are also encouraged to apply if they are looking to step up from a first external sales or internal sales role.

Requirements for the Technical Sales Engineer role:

Interest in sales within the construction industry - ideally having some sales experience within this

Customer-facing experience and willingness to learn

Ability to utilise CRM tools effectively

Ambitious, driven, graduate with some internal sales or commercial exposure

Driving licence
