Are you a former cloud/infrastructure engineer with a knack for structure, stakeholder alignment, and process improvement? At Xccelerated, we are looking for a technically-grounded project manager or business analyst to support one of our clients in shaping and driving their infrastructure transformation journey.

About the Role

This role is part of a larger initiative to modernize the infrastructure landscape of a major organization. You'll join the department that provides essential tooling and services to support over 3,000 developers across the company.

As a strategic liaison between engineering teams and leadership, you'll help shape the future of infrastructure services-from virtual machines to platform migrations. Your mission is to bring structure to a complex stakeholder field, define clear processes, map dependencies, and ensure all moving parts align.

You'll work closely with technical experts but won't be doing hands-on implementation yourself. Instead, your focus is on orchestrating the process: defining roles and responsibilities, capturing risks and timelines, and driving clarity in a rapidly evolving environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Gather input from engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to understand current workflows, bottlenecks, and priorities.
• Define and document future-state processes, decision frameworks, and migration strategies.
• Coordinate across teams to clarify roles, responsibilities, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Create and maintain documentation that brings clarity and structure to ongoing infrastructure changes.
• Act as a linking pin between leadership and the engineering organization, ensuring alignment and follow-through.
• Facilitate communication and feedback loops between all involved parties.

What You Bring

• Experience in cloud and/or infrastructure environments (e.g. Virtual Machines, platform migrations, Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Background as an engineer or technical consultant, with a move toward stakeholder management, project ownership, or business analysis.
• Strong ability to navigate complex organizations and identify the right stakeholders.
• A natural process thinker who enjoys designing frameworks, tracking progress, and spotting risks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-changing environments with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
