Job Description
Overview

This post is to support the Discipline of Anatomy's Teaching and Research perspectives, by joining a dynamic and expanding health science department. The role encompasses all areas of technical support for anatomical practical teaching and research including undergraduate and postgraduate projects. Technical service also includes the maintenance of the Disciplines laboratories, the preservation, preparation and care of human cadavers, and the delivery of practical class teaching.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will provide technical support for anatomical teaching and research, maintain laboratories, preserve and prepare cadavers, and deliver practical class teaching. The position also involves fostering a safe and efficient learning environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Entry requires a relevant Honours degree. Preferred candidates may hold an MSc and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Such candidates may be appointed at the Senior Technical Officer level.

Job Details

Permanent Contract, 36.5 hours per week. Salary is set on the Technical Officer Pay Scale with an annual range of €40,743 to €61,557, depending on experience.
