Locum Consultant Cardiologist - Special Interest in Electrophysiology

This fixed term post at THH requires subspecialty expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology. It is a 10 person allocation post with cross site commitments at Hillingdon and Hammersmith Hospitals.

At Hillingdon, the post holder will:

• contribute to the care of general cardiology patients on the ward
• perform two outpatient clinics per week
• report on direct access GP investigations and vet GP referrals

At Hammersmith, the post holder will:

• contribute to the electrophysiology service with two lists per week
• serve on call 1 in 20 weekends

Qualifications

• On GMC's register with a Licence to Practice or eligible to apply for GMC registration
• On GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of being admitted to the register by the date of the interviews, or eligible for specialist registration
• Appropriate Royal College Membership
• Comprehensive clinical experience in Cardiology
• Expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Higher degree relevant to heart failure (MD, PhD)
• Further expertise in advanced electrophysiology procedures
