Job outlineWe are looking to appoint a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our popular, diverse and welcoming Primary School in Darley Abbey. Strong communication skills, a flexible adaptable approach and working effectively within a team is essential. Experience of working with children with additional needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD, is strongly desired but other experience is welcome. Walter Evans Primary School is a proud member of Derby Diocesan Academy Trust () and enjoys a positive relationship with a team of professionals providing effective support in school improvement and operations. We aim to provide a safe and happy environment in which all children are encouraged to be creative. We want our children to be successful, to love learning and to move onto the next stage of their education with the skills, knowledge and understanding that will enable them to thrive.
