1:1 Part-time Middle School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a middle school aged student starting in August at ACS International School Egham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person's educational journey.

Role Overview

You will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored academic and pastoral support throughout each morning. The role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support in lessons across the curriculum
• Assist with maintaining focus, engagement, and organisation
• Adapt learning materials to suit the student's needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents
• Support the student's social and emotional development

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with lower secondary school-aged students
• Understanding of additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable)
• Calm, positive, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Start Date: Mid August 2026
Contract: Part-time, term time only, 17 hours per week
Location: Egham, TW20 0HS
Salary: Fixed rate
