Not every child learns in the same way. Some children need extra encouragement, patience, understanding and support to help them thrive. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting learning and engagement both inside and outside the classroom
- Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Adapting support to meet individual needs and learning styles
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff
- Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where all children can succeed

You do not need prior experience working in a school to become a SEND Teaching Assistant.

- Health and social care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
