Job Description

We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated teacher of Music and performing Arts who is passionate about raising attainment and aspirations. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level and Performing Arts at KS4 towards a technical Award.

Purpose of the Post

To teach Music and Performing Arts to the full range of abilities from Years 7 to 11.
To ensure appropriate differentiation for students.
To ensure high levels of attainment and progress in Music and Performing Arts.
To lead the department in challenging under achievement with a particular focus on those who are disadvantaged.
To carry out any other specific duty assigned by the headteacher or senior leadership team.
