Grade/Salary: Teacher Pay Scale M1-M6, Actual Salary: £32,916 to £45,352
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 1 year of Maternity Cover
Contract Terms: 32.5 hours, FullTime

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities Faculty on a 1-year maternity cover contract from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, achievement and a love of learning. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning and who can contribute positively to a supportive and ambitious department.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across the ability range
  • Monitor and support student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
  • Promote excellent behaviour, inclusion and student wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Humanities team
