T2P Production Operative

Day shifts, immediate start, temp to perm role.

We are currently hiring Production Operatives to join a busy team in Hinckley where you will be involved in the production, packing and quality checking of products.

• Operating production machinery, using hand tools and manufacturing goods
• Reading / processing barcodes, purchase orders and material orders
• Preparing, handling and moving raw materials
• Sampling and quality checking products
• Packing, wrapping and palletising the finished goods
• Stock takes, identifying incorrect products/ procedures and keeping a clean work environment
• Meeting production targets.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.71 an hour.Holiday pay will be accrued up to 28 days per year (pro rata).We do not accept Visa Sponsorships.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30Breaks include:

• 20-minute lunch break
• 15-minute additional break

Candidates must also be flexible and available to work 5 days per week in the future, depending on the needs of the business.

Closing Date:

We are looking for someone with previous manufacturing experience, who has used hand tools and production machinery. You must be happy working with raw materials and have great attention to detail to ensure no mistakes are made.

Further requirments:

• Good written and spoken English to ensure accurate understanding of instructions
• Ability to spot anomalies and rectify accordingly
• Great attention to detail, understanding of health & safety and communicate effectively.
