Due to continued growth within their Transportation team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of major highways, active travel, public transport and infrastructure schemes.This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary environment where you will lead technical delivery, mentor teams, and contribute to the development of complex and high-profile projects based in Dublin, Ireland.

Your new role
As Principal Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects across Ireland.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and provide technical leadership.
• Oversee project planning, design reviews, risk management and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development activities, bids and framework opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior and senior engineers within the team.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Principal Engineering role, you should have:

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards chartership with significant experience).
• Extensive experience delivering transportation or highways projects within a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of design standards, project governance and engineering best practice.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full right to work in Ireland.
