What you'll be doing as a System Optimisation Analyst- Monitoring, investigating and resolving pressure issues, customer complaints and critical alarms.
- Supporting the System Optimisation Engineer during planned and unplanned operational events.
- Analysing network performance data and identifying solutions to maintain system stability.
- Coordinating logging of pressure managed areas and ensuring data accuracy.
- Supporting risk assessments and operational planning to minimise customer impact.
- Contributing to wider strategies for managing pressures, flows, reservoir levels and pumping regimes.
- Ensuring all operations follow approved Asset Management Procedures.
- Proven experience working with data- strong analytical skills are essential.
- An engineering degree or similar technical background would be a strong advantage.
- Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast paced operational environment.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable (but not essential).
- Knowledge of GIS mapping software or hydraulic modelling is a plus.
- This role will be paid from £35,000 up to £40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
- Annual leave: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)
