Open Source Technical Lead Engineer - GitHub, CI/CD - this is a long term contract for our Basel based client in the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

• Ownership of the Shared Source initiative, focusing on hands-on technical implementation and platform development.
• Design the technical platform and implement robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish secure version control systems and define governance frameworks.
• Integrate technical processes to ensure compliance with intellectual property and security requirements.
• Onboard contributors and provide technical support to ensure active participation.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive experience working within open-source or shared-source projects.
• Hands-on expertise with code-hosting platforms like GitLab or GitHub Enterprise.
• Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• Solid understanding of software security best practices.
• Language skills: English

• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and legal perspectives.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and autonomous.
