Job Description

Systems Engineer

From Pixie we are looking for profiles of System Engineer for one of our main clients, These services are built exclusively on Open Source technologies like Debian Linux, FreeRADIUS, MariaDB, and Kamailio. We pride ourselves on maintaining smooth operations for our highly available VoIP and Radius systems, serving over 4 million customers. We're looking for a solution-oriented and responsible Linux expert to help us continue this mission.

Main Responsibilities:

Work on complex Linux systems with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience.
Debug Unix infrastructure in high-performance and high-availability (HA) environments.
Manage and support HA clusters.
Troubleshoot complex network issues (TCP/IP, UDP).
Administer and optimize virtualized environments using PROXMOX.
Understand the full software life cycle.
Automate system processes using Puppet, Python, Bash Scripting.
Maintain and operate an environment of 700 Servers (440 physical), across 4 Data Center locations.
Be available for weekly on-call duties, with a maximum 30-minute response time to the Workstation.
(Bonus) Experience with Data Center migration projects and cloud transformation.
