Systems Accountant - Hybrid, Waterloo, London - Permanent

Nicholas Howard Limitedare delighted to be recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Systems Accountant.

This is a Hybrid position, working 1 - 2 days per week in Waterloo, London.

Responsibilities:

• Own controls and governance of Business Central system.
• Control of set-up / use /opening / closing of general ledger structure, mapping and dimensions across all entities.
• Control mapping in Business Central of P&L and Balance sheet.
• Define and control best practices to report intercompany balances across.
• Work closely with external Business Central support partner to raise and resolve tickets for queries.
• Develop and improve financial processes to get to best practice in Business Central.
• Able to train and support others especially non-finance teams on Business Central processes.
• Work closely with group accountant on delivery of month end results, controls and reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A team and group finance team to create models for budget and forecast.
• Work with group finance team on IT transformation project as required.
• Work closely with IT team to align on processes and systems controls.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CIMA / ACCA / equivalent.
• Strong experience of using Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central.
• Be a proven systems accountant.
• Well-developed analytical and excel skills (experience using Power BI).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Keen to progress career and develop.
