Job Title: Senior Window Fitter (uPVC, Aluminium, and Hardwood Windows and Doors)
Job Description:
Bicester uPVC Direct Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Window Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will specialise in the installation of uPVC, aluminium, and hardwood windows and doors . This role involves leading installation projects, ensuring top-quality workmanship, and providing guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Install uPVC, aluminium, and hardwood windows and doors in both residential and commercial properties.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
Measure and prepare job sites, ensuring precision in the installation of frames and fittings.
Supervise the removal and disposal of old windows and doors while maintaining cleanliness and safety on-site.
Lead and mentor a team of junior fitters, overseeing their work and providing training where necessary.
Liaise with clients, delivering excellent service and addressing any concerns or issues.
Perform final inspections post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct any necessary adjustments and minor repairs during the installation process.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring readiness for each project.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fitting uPVC, aluminium, and hardwood windows and doors.
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, health and safety practices, and industry installation standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to job sites across the region.
Strong communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as FENSA or related qualifications.
Experience across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience, with potential for overtime and bonuses
