We are now recruiting for the exciting role of System Design & Integration Engineer - Power Station, to be involved in industry-leading, cutting-edge design projects for a new type of power station.
The System Design & Integration Engineer will integrate functional design and undertake design optioneering to define the design of the RR SMR power station as part of the Power Station Integration team.
The engineer will deliver integrated power station features/capabilities using systems engineering methods, working with subject matter experts and discipline design teams across the power station to ensure top-level requirements are met and an effective product is delivered.
- Deliver the design of power station features/capabilities and manage the performance and attributes of the power station in relation to these (e.g., net power output, availability, product cost).
- Own the delivery of capabilities, driving decision-making and design development to programme whilst coordinating with other disciplines.
- Ensure requirements flow to lower-tier systems enables overarching power station objectives to be met, including:
- Eliciting capability requirements.
- Integrating across multi-disciplinary design teams to develop the capability design.
- Delivering features within the Power Station Architecture Model.
- Use experience, optioneering, and systems engineering techniques to deliver power station design solutions against product requirements.

Salary: £48,000 - £62,500 DOE plus benefits, including:
- Performance-related bonus (12.5%)
- Benefits Allowance (£2,200/year)
- Pension: 12% employer + 6% employee contributions
