Network Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales, Design, Cisco)

Location: Cirencester/Hybrid (Requirements to work on site around the UK and in the office 2 days a week)

This is a superb full-time Network Infrastructure/Solutions role with 75% Presales and 25% hands-on responsibilities.

As an accomplished Network Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the company's technical roadmap by designing and producing scalable, robust, and innovative solutions for our growing customer base.

This architecture and engineering role offers flexibility to provide full lifecycle network design and deployment for projects as needed or to match customer demand. The role may evolve to focus on either design or deployment specialization.

Ideal experience and qualifications include:

• A passion for technology, including the design and implementation of solutions
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Experience with leadership or mentorship of junior engineers
• Knowledge of Cisco SD Access, Firepower Firewalls, Cisco Switching (Catalyst and Nexus), DNAC, network automation technologies such as Auvik, Ansible/AWX, Netmiko
• Experience with Wi-Fi design and implementation, survey hardware and software such as Ekahau
• Experience with ADSL/FTTC, MPLS WAN, VPN connections, Aerohive, Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto, Juniper Firewalls, switches, and access points
• Familiarity with Meraki and Extreme Wi-Fi and Switching
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, Netsuite, PRTG Network Monitor, TeamViewer, SolarWinds
• Experience with security solutions such as Endpoint security, Identity Management, CASB, and MDR
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) protocols like Modbus and BACnet
• Experience working with Operational Technology (OT) networks, including Industrial Switching, LoRaWAN, 4/5G Routers, SMS gateways, and low-voltage (24VDC) hardware installations
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, or CCDP
