System Administrator (Jaggaer Procurement)

On behalf of The Department for Transport, we are looking for a Jaggaer Procurement System Administrator (Inside IR35) for a 24 month contract based Hybrid in London Birmingham or Leeds (3 days per week in-office).
The Department for Transport (DfT) Rail Services Group Contract Management System Team provides the Jaggaer system for the management of obligations and business plan commitments across 14 National Rail Contracts and Service agreements:
. Providing accurate and up to date obligations for Dft staff and staff at Train Operators
. Contract change and derogation management process
. Supporting guiding and training users
. Developing processes to meet users needs
We are seeking an experienced Jaggaer System Administrator to join our team as soon as possible. You will help implement obligation management, change requests, user setup and process development to make our use of Contracts Plus more efficient and user-friendly while improving the quality and range of data held on the platform. The system provides detailed breakdown of very large contracts to deliverable levels with complex frequencies.
You will work closely with contract managers, subject matter experts, policy teams and procurement colleagues to understand, test and implement improvements and respond reactively to resolve errors and glitches as they arise.
You will work directly with one other Jaggaer System Administrator and the Team Manager, within a wider team managing contracts and other processes and systems.
As a Jaggaer System Administrator your main responsibilities will be to:
. Manage contract data: Extract obligations, process changes and derogations and ensure data accuracy across the Jaggaer Contracts Plus system.
. Support users: Handle daily queries, troubleshoot issues and collaborate with users to understand programme and individual needs.
. Configure and improve the system: Map and implement new processes, fields, workflows and permissions; lead functionality, design, testing, deployment, review, launch and monitoring.
. Maintain data quality: Perform data cleansing, consistency checks; raise bugs and development needs with the system provider.
. Develop reporting: Analyse contract data and support the creation of meaningful reports.
. Lead system improvements and manage change: Roll out new functionality, assess quarterly system releases, identify risks, agree mitigations and ensure system changes are implemented and sustained.
. Deliver training via MS Teams and in person, including presentations to large groups.
. Participate in team meetings, share expertise and act as the Contracts Plus subject matter expert to guide system improvements.
Essential:
. Proven experience as a System Administrator on procurement/contract management systems such as AWARD and Jaggaer. Experience in managing different systems in a System Administrator role.
. Ability to configure workflows, batch processes, user roles and permissions to support system functionality.
. Skilled in data cleansing, configuration, maintenance and handling commercially sensitive information in line with appropriate protocols.
. Experience with user acceptance testing, test Scripting and supporting system upgrades.
. Skilled in supporting users, resolving issues and delivering training both one-to-one and to large groups via MS Teams and in person.
. Understanding of procurement and contract management processes.
. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with technical experts, non-technical colleagues and end-users; Personable and able to build relationships across multiple teams in a large organisation
. Flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, support non-technical activities and escalate issues appropriately.
Desirable:
. Proven experience as a Jaggaer System Administrator - Contract's Plus Module.
. Experience working within public sector organisations, or closely with them.
