Our client, a leading global player in the pharmaceutical industry with modern offices in the Lucerne area, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) to support the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Supply Chain Management team. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional partners and play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of international (ex-US) product launches.
Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following main activities:
- Support cross-functional project activities for New Product Introduction, ensuring smooth coordination across departments such as Supply Planning, Demand Management, Fulfilment, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Logistics, and Finance
- Coordinate tasks to mitigate risks across NPI milestones, including artwork readiness, code creation, forecast positioning, packaging readiness, and system setup in alignment with Health Authority approvals
- Support process implementation related to new product launches, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for product launches and provide reporting support to stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation within the supply chain function
Profile
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must have:
- BA/BS or higher academic education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, new product introduction, or project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, regulatory requirements, and product launch strategies
- Strong organisational and task management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver on deadlines
- Analytically mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Rapid Response) is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service- and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
