Working within our Design team, the Structural Engineer will play a key role in supporting structural design elements on projects.
What you'll do:
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System
- Undertake concept designs and planning projects at the concept stage on a wide variety of buildings
- Be responsible for producing Structural Engineering calculations for light gauge steel frames, associated hot rolled members, and composite floor slabs
- Deliver excellent project work within agreed deadlines and budget
- Interact with clients and other project members
- Keep management informed of important and relevant design decisions to ensure company and client objectives are met
- Represent Remagin and attend meetings with clients and suppliers, alongside senior team members
- Understand the detailed design process, including software use, process adherence, and production of manufacturing information
- Undertake site visits as required
What you'll bring:
- Experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in steel design
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with senior engineers and external design teams to provide engineering solutions
- Bachelor's degree (BEng / BSc) or Master's degree (MEng / MSc) meeting the engineering academic requirements for Chartership
