The FCO Global Space planning organization incorporates factory strategic ramp capital planning to define what our factories and associated capital equipment needs are to achieve long-term manufacturing objectives. Come and join this team as a Layout Industrial Engineer within the Foundry Capital Optimization organization, where you can be involved in shaping Intel's future and evolution to become one of world's critical foundry services.

Layout is an international team with partners located in Ireland, Israel, US and Malaysia. This requires being flexible with meeting availability and may require occasional travel. Additionally, the Layout IE is the key integration point of many functions required in the layout planning, tool install and construction process. You will serve as a critical link between the Strategic Planning Organization, Construction, Tool Install Design, Install, Manufacturing and Process Engineering during all stages of layout development.

Responsibilities

• Planning production facilities and equipment layouts, determining the most efficient use of space, comprehending process flow design constraints, and establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Optimizing the installation sequence to support the analysis and recommendations for future technology transition scenarios.
• Assist in the process of equipment installation by supporting Design Reviews and attending Field Walks as needed.
• Interaction with Design Construction and Capacity groups during site build out will be critical to ensure alignment with plans and resolving any layout related field issues.
• In addition to layout development work the candidate will also be expected to develop, follow, and improve business standards within the organization and drive standardisation across multiple sites.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience aligned with business needs.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in construction/tool install/semiconductors/factory operations
• Experience designing equipment layouts and workflows
• Project or Program Management
• Fluent in REVIT and/or AutoCAD design software
• Experience in Facilities Design/Management

Annual Salary Range for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: 49,300.00 € - 92,600.00 €

The compensation range displayed in this posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education, training. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will share the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
