Job Description

If you have proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing a team in a customer-focused retail business, this could be the role for you.

As a leader at Coffi Lab, you will contribute to our success through a proactive and entrepreneurial management style, working with and nurturing your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will be a passionate ambassador for Coffi Lab, championing our values to create a warm, safe environment. You will have the knowledge and experience to drive financial targets and maintain all Coffi Lab standards.

Support and training are offered at every step - our senior ops team have walked in your shoes and are aware of the challenges. As a growing business, we love to offer development opportunities to our teams. We also aim to create a fun work environment, encouraging competition and incentives.

Our teams receive a discount on Coffi Lab products as well as free drinks while on shift. Overtime is paid for every hour worked above contract hours - this applies to all team members, including managers.

We are looking for someone to:

  1. Successfully run a high-volume & fast-paced store in line with Coffi Lab standards.
  2. Deliver outstanding customer service.
  3. Follow all operational processes and keep all relevant documentation up to date.
  4. Hire and onboard all new store employees into the business.
  5. Provide ongoing training & development to all team members using training materials provided. Ensure training is documented and kept on file.
  6. Lead by example and promote the business in accordance with all training provided.
  7. Show a clear understanding of your store budgets and strategically manage key financial metrics to ensure they are met.
  8. Maintain optimum stock levels to achieve gross margin targets and manage the ordering process.
  9. Plan rotas, schedule holidays, and ensure they are correctly reflected on the system to support accurate reporting and payroll.
  10. Ensure all Health and Safety compliance is followed.

  6. Be clear. Proficient in software packages such as Microsoft Office, EPOS, and PDQ, with strong verbal and written English skills.
