Argento, one of the UK and Ireland's leading fashion jewellery retailers, is looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Belfast store.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail manager, or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
The RolePosition: Store Manager
Location: Argento Belfast,7-11 Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1FB
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
The role includes a flexible shift pattern across daytime, evenings and weekends.

As Store Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of your store.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll lead from the front, creating an inspiring environment where colleagues feel motivated, customers feel valued and commercial targets are consistently achieved.
You'll be responsible for developing a high-performing team, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.
As part of your role, you will also become a keyholder and receive training in ear piercing, one of our most popular in-store services.
What You'll Be Doing Leading Your Team- Inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Create a positive culture focused on performance and customer service
- Coach colleagues to maximise their potential and support succession planning
- Recruit, onboard and retain talented team members
- Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every opportunity
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, customer loyalty and store performance
- Set the standard for outstanding Argento customer service
- Oversee all day-to-day store operations
- Manage rotas, payroll and staffing levels in line with budgets
- Complete cash handling, banking and keyholder responsibilities
- Plan stock takes, sales launches and seasonal activity
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and health & safety requirements
- Analyse store performance and identify growth opportunities
- Manage costs and profitability effectively
- Deliver visual merchandising standards that inspire customers and maximise sales
- Protect company assets through strong stock control and security practices
We're looking for a confident leader who is passionate about retail, people and delivering results.
Essential Skills & Experience- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a high-volume retail store
- Proven success leading, coaching and developing teams
- Strong commercial awareness and experience working in a KPI-driven environment
- Experience recruiting, onboarding and training colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- Experience managing payroll, rotas and store budgets
- Understanding of profit and loss performance
- Confident using POS systems, Microsoft Office and retail technology
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Positive, proactive and professional approach
- A natural people leader
- Commercially minded and results driven
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
