Are you a Sports Graduate, Sports Coach, PE Assistant, or youth sports professional who enjoys working with children?

Aspire People are looking for enthusiastic individuals from sports and coaching backgrounds to work within primary schools as Teaching Assistants and Learning Support staff .

Your experience coaching children can be highly transferable to education. Building relationships, managing groups, motivating young people, encouraging teamwork, and helping children overcome challenges are all valuable skills within a school environment.

This could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move from sports into education or gain experience before considering a teacher training or education-based career .

The Role:
Supporting pupils within the classroom
Assisting with group activities and interventions
Supporting children who require additional help with learning or behaviour
Encouraging positive attitudes, teamwork, and resilience
Supporting PE and physical activity where appropriate
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
Working closely with teachers and support staff

Your Background Could Include:
Sports or Sports Science degree
Sports coaching
Children's football, rugby, cricket, athletics, or similar coaching
School sports programmes
Holiday clubs or activity camps
Youth work or community sports

Experience working with children or young people
Energetic and positive personality
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Patient and supportive approach
