Solution Architect for Card Management Systems/Payments Solutions

Assignment description

We are looking for a Solution Architect for our client in the banking sector. The role is part of a large-scale transformation program focused on the renewal and simplification of card systems across the Nordic region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the way financial services will operate in the future.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that align with the overall enterprise architecture vision and strategy. You will ensure business needs are met while taking into account existing constraints, managing dependencies, assessing risks, and proposing corrective measures when needed.

Required skills and knowledge:

• Integration knowledge
• Knowledge of microservices and micro-applications
• Communication with suppliers and development teams
• Experience in working in agile methodology (SAFe)
• Holistic thinking combined with detailed analysis
• General knowledge of Java at the level that allows communication with development teams
• Experience in technologies such as Rest APIs and Kafka is useful
• General knowledge of IBM Mainframe and Legacy systems is welcome

Experience and background:

• Experience of working as an architect on large projects in international organizations

• Transaction and Payments Processing
• Transaction Monitoring
• Card and ATM Networks
• Data Management
• Security, GDPR and PCI compliance

Location:

Helsinki, 50% onsite with 50% Remote work possible, candidates must already be living in Finland.
