Highwood Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built facility in the picturesque port town of Bideford. We provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 67 residents. Our home offers a warm and welcoming environment with state-of-the-art facilities, designed to help residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team, helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment that supports residents' well-being. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team where your contribution is valued and your attention to detail makes a real difference every day.

What We Offer:

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 25 hours per week
  • Pension, Paid DBS
  • Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You'll DoYou will ensure all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. This includes floors, furniture, fixtures, sanitary areas, and laundry. You will handle and label residents' personal belongings safely and support the daily well-being of residents by creating a pleasant and comfortable environment. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the home.
