Private Client Solicitor - Probate / Wills / Estate Planning

Location: East Belfast (with flexibility to support Holywood office)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 FTE (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and personable Private Client Solicitor to join our growing team, specialising in Probate, Wills, and Estate Planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established firm in the Northern Ireland market.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients while contributing positively to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Powers of attorney
• Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting the ongoing development of the private client department
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards

Experience & Skills Required

• Ideally 2-5 years PQE within private client work in Northern Ireland
• Strong technical knowledge of probate, wills, and estate planning
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage caseload independently with attention to detail
• Proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career within private client law
