Are you an experienced software tester who thrives in a high-stakes, technically advanced environment? At Trinamics, we are seeking a strong-minded and communicative Software Tester to join one of our cutting-edge clients working on the future of autonomous transportation.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of quality assurance for their Transit Operations Monitoring and Supervision (TOMS) system, the intelligent fleet management platform that supports the real-time coordination of autonomous vehicles.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform daily manual testing on complex functionalities such as route planning, vehicle charging logic, and operator interfaces
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans across multiple integration levels
• Work closely with developers and system engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Help define the testing strategy with a forward-looking mindset towards automation
• Support remote commissioning and on-site deployment efforts as needed
• Ensure comprehensive UI testing for control room operators (not vehicle control systems)

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in manual and functional testing
• Strong skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for writing test scripts
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments and containerized setups
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework)
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and related toolchains
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive quality conversations

Nice to Have

• ISTQB certification
• Experience with networking protocols or distributed systems
• Background in fleet management or vehicle routing systems
