Job Title: Software Engineer / IFS Cloud Technical Consultant

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Contract: Freelance / Contract

I am looking for an IFS Cloud Technical Consultant to join our client's team in Amsterdam. You'll work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver IFS Cloud technical solutions, customisations, and integrations that support critical business operations.

Your core responsibilities

• Design and develop technical customisations, configurations, and integrations in IFS Cloud.
• Analyse business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions using IFS tools (Developer Studio, Custom Events, Lobbies, Reports).
• Build and maintain IFS Connect integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and perform data migrations using Data Migration Workbench.
• Develop and customise reports using IFS Reporting Framework, Crystal Reports, and Quick Reports.
• Collaborate with functional teams to deliver best-practice IFS implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Support upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

Ideal Background

• Experience as an IFS Technical Consultant (IFS Apps 10 / IFS Cloud).
• Hands on experience with IFS Developer Studio, PL/SQL, and custom objects (Events, Projections, Pages).
• Experience with IFS Connect, REST APIs, SOAP services, and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of data migration tools and strategies within IFS.
• Proficient in reporting tools such as IFS Reporting Framework and Crystal Reports.
• Familiar with IFS Cloud configuration and personalization.
