Great chance to work on a deep-tech solution used by millions of people globally, if you're an experienced Java Backend Engineer with strong Android and Espresso UI testing skills to join our team for a high-impact project in Eindhoven. You'll be working on a cutting-edge HD application running on Android, contributing across backend logic, system integration, and automated testing.

You'll take ownership of backend components for an HD Android-based application, implementing clean and scalable Java code that ties together application logic, systems integration, and performance.

The role involves working closely with Android engineers to shape functionality that is reliable, maintainable, and built with long-term quality in mind. You'll also drive automated testing by designing and maintaining Espresso UI test suites , improving test coverage, and strengthening reliability across the full stack.

Your background:

• Strong experience with Java (backend focus)

• Solid background developing Android applications or Android-based system components

• Hands-on experience with Espresso for UI test automation

• Comfortable working full-stack across backend, integration, and test layers

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Available for on-site work in Eindhoven (hybrid setup)
