About the Role

Are you a skilled network professional ready to lead innovative SDN initiatives across one of Europe's most complex digital environments?
We're seeking a Service Manager (SDN) to drive the evolution, reliability, and performance of next-generation networking services supporting large-scale EU digital infrastructure.

You'll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring network excellence, and shaping the future of software-defined networking and micro-segmentation services.

What You'll Do

• Lead SDN Operations: Provide expert-level technical guidance on SDN, micro-segmentation, and next-generation Firewalling - from design to troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Drive Projects: Manage diverse initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and align with strategic goals.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with key stakeholders to define requirements, communicate outcomes, and improve business processes.
• Ensure Service Excellence: Oversee service reliability, documentation quality, and compliance with DIGIT standards.
• Security & Compliance: Evaluate and implement robust network security standards in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Shape the Future: Define the long-term strategy for SDN and Firewalling services - identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Essential experience

• Master's degree in IT or a related field.
• B2 or higher in both English and French (proficiency in one preferred).
• 5+ years designing, configuring, and managing large-scale software-defined networks and micro-segmentation environments.
• 3+ years with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking (AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent certification is a strong plus).
• VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) or equivalent next-gen Firewall certification.
• Project Management certification (PM² Agile or equivalent).
