Snr Occupational Therapist - Homeless Service

Cpl Healthcare is delighted to partner with a leading non-profit organisation in the Northwest that supports individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness, chronic trauma, mental health challenges, and addiction.
We are currently seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting service users on their journey towards recovery, independence, and community integration.
The RoleAs a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work directly with service users in their own homes, helping them develop essential daily living skills and achieve greater independence. You will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments based on individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions that support functional recovery.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals who may have experienced significant trauma and social exclusion.
- Support service users in progressing towards a more stable and sustainable lifestyle.
This role covers the Northwest region, including:
- County Sligo
- County Donegal
- County Leitrim
Candidates must:
- Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Be registered with CORU.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification clinical experience, including significant experience in:
- Mental health services; and/or
- Working with marginalised or socially excluded populations.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, prioritise, and manage the needs of individual service users.
- Be able to adapt recovery-focused interventions to meet service user needs.
- Have excellent relationship-building and engagement skills.
- Hold permission to work in Ireland.
- Possess a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
