Job Title:Service Delivery Manager

Department:IT, Data & Digital

Onshore/Offshore:Onshore

Location:Aberdeen

Reports to:IT, Data & Digital Manager

Temporary Contract - PAYE tax status

12-month contract

Start date ASAP

Role Purpose

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliable, efficient, and secure delivery of IT services that support critical business operations. They act as the bridge between IT and business units, managing vendor relationships, service performance, and compliance with industry standards, while driving continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment

They will:

Manage delivery from the key vendor companies that provide IT support ensuring contractual obligations are met and services are aligned with business needs and compliance standards.

Oversee the delivery and performance of IT services ensuring systems are consistently available and meet SLAs.

Collaborate with business units to understand operational priorities and translate business requirements into service delivery plans that support strategic goals.

Collaborate with the Cyber Security Manager to monitor and mitigate the IT derived risks for the organisation.

Geographical Span:Company Assets - UKCS

Travel Required:Occasional as required

Manage the IT service contracts, conducting regular service reviews and performance assessments, escalating and resolving service issues with third-party support teams.

Engage with business units to understand operational priorities and pain points, translating business needs into service improvement initiatives.

Support digital transformation and automation projects through an IT PMO aligned to the company's Business Improvement Team process.

Produce regular dashboards and reports on service KPIs and SLAs, using these to identify trends and areas for improvement using performance data.

Professional/Educational Requirements

Degree qualified in a relevant IT field

Proven experience in IT Service Delivery in an energy related organisation.

Strong understanding of Oil & Gas environments.

Strong contract management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to emerging threats

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentoring and development

High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
