Driver Loader

Over de functie You mainly collect commercial waste, old paper, and cardboard from clients such as supermarkets, offices, bakeries, and campsites. The routes vary each day but always remain within your region. Together with your colleague, you ensure that the waste is collected and recycled efficiently and responsibly. You regularly interact with customers and enjoy a friendly chat. Thanks to your good knowledge of the routes, you know exactly where the containers are located. While the work is independent, you're always on the truck with your teammate.

What does your workday look like as a driver loader?

• Start your day with a cup of coffee and discuss the route with your colleague and the planner
• Perform a quick check of the truck and head out to your first stop
• Empty waste containers into the compactor truck along the route
• Take turns driving and loading with your colleague
• Deliver the waste to a depot or processing facility at scheduled times
• Check at the end of your route if any colleagues need assistance
• Return to the depot in Amsterdam and wrap up your workdayYou usually start between 6:30 and 7:00 AM and, depending on the route, finish between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. You'll work Monday through Friday, so your weekends are always free.

Functie-eisen

• You are a reliable and cooperative driver with a positive attitude
• You hold a valid C driving license, including Code 95 and a valid tachograph card
• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week
• You enjoy working as part of a team and think proactively to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• You live within 30 km of Amsterdam, or in the Utrecht, Hoofddorp, Haarlem, Zaandam, Purmerend, or Almere region
