THE ROLE

As Senior Retail Marketing Manager, you will lead the consumer marketing strategy for British Land's retail portfolio, ensuring all campaigns are aligned with real estate business objectives. You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of retail marketing activity, connect consumer marketing to B2B needs, manage agency relationships and budget efficiency, and report performance against KPIs to the real estate team.

Your work will protect and grow retail marketing performance through targeted, measurable consumer activity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Consumer Marketing Strategy
  • Lead the development and execution of consumer marketing strategy for the retail portfolio.
  • Align campaigns with real estate business objectives and ensure integration with B2B needs.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity, ensuring consistency and impact.
Agency & Budget Management
  • Manage agency relationships to ensure high-quality delivery and budget efficiency.
  • Oversee the allocation and tracking of marketing budgets.
Performance Reporting
  • Track and report marketing performance against KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to the real estate team.
  • Use data to optimise campaigns and drive measurable results.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver targeted, effective consumer marketing.
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in B2C and B2B marketing, ideally within retail or real estate sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute consumer marketing strategies that drive business objectives.
  • Skilled in managing agency relationships and marketing budgets for maximum efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and create compelling communications.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of business strategies and how to connect them to broader commercial objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Integrity and professionalism in representing British Land's brand and values.
