Overview

This position delivers interdisciplinary intervention to children aged 0 18 with complex developmental needs across CRC Children's Disability Network teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide interdisciplinary intervention to children 0 18 years with complex developmental needs.
• Use a family centred practice model aligned with Progressing Disability Services.
• Administer standardised cognitive assessments with children.
• Produce clear reports, communicate effectively, and demonstrate initiative and time management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and contribute to lean healthcare practices.

Essential Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Psychology with first or second class honours; honours obtained in that subject.
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology.
• At least five years post graduate experience as a professional psychologist, no more than three years spent obtaining the postgraduate professional qualification and at least two years full time post qualification experience.
• Experience completing standardised cognitive assessment with children.
• Excellent report writing, communication, initiative and time management skills.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience working with children with physical disabilities.
• Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience completing Assessment of Need.
• Full driver's licence and access to car.

Salary

Department of Health salary scale, grade code 367Y (€99,488 - €116,942).
