About the team you are joiningYou will be joining the Cargo Operations Solutions team based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, and reporting to the Assistant Director Cargo Operations Solutions. We create products and solutions that help facilitate compliance in air cargo transportation with international regulations and global standards, whilst seeking to improve operational performance, safety, and quality. These products are developed in close collaboration with our subject matter experts, industry, and international organizations, and are delivered to the global air cargo community through online solutions, integrated APIs and data products using emerging technologies. These products are continuously enhanced and updated to offer the latest and best possible cargo operational solutions for air cargo compliance to our customers.
We are looking for a dynamic professional with a strong background in customer centric product management, marketing, or sales (ideally with international experience in the air freight industry).
You will have the opportunity to drive a key product portfolio with a large, engaged, cross industry customer base to the next level of value, connectivity and accurate intelligence.
You will be joining a diverse and multi cultural team of professionals that are dedicated to delivering effective customer value and solutions that help improve operational efficiencies and compliance for air cargo stakeholders globally.
What your day would be like- Lead the end to end management of the TACT product portfolio (from strategy and roadmap to financials and operations). You will ensure TACT solutions remain competitive, relevant, and aligned with market needs.
- Develop compelling business cases for new solutions and enhancements. Champion their development and successful market introduction, ensuring customers can fully leverage TACT's rich content and capabilities.
- Manage pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and the 3 year business plan. Support invoicing and collections, ensuring financial health and transparency across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive growth. Organize customer engagements, lead product workshops, represent TACT at industry events, and promote our solutions with confidence. Partner with IT, finance, legal, compliance, and product teams to support enterprise initiatives like new content management and product delivery platform and business systems.
- Work closely with TACT Operations to ensure data, rules management and product creation and distribution align with customer and product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support, delivering seamless customer experience.
- Coordinate with the Compliance Requirements Network (CRN) team to source, integrate, and expand high quality content from internal and external content contributors.
- Partner with the Customer Service team to ensure timely, high quality 2nd and 3rd level support, maintaining agreed SLAs and customer satisfaction.
- A University degree in business, or other related field (MBA or postgraduate preferred).
- At least 5 years of international experience in air freight processes, air cargo operations, pricing, and working knowledge of TACT (The Air Cargo Tariffs and Rules).
- Good understanding of the air freight industry, current industry leading challenges and its key players.
- Proven success in managing digital products or publications with commercial impact.
- Hands on experience with Salesforce (CRM), Pardot (Marketing) and SAP (OtC) and project management tools.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of closing deals and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, team oriented with the ability to balance strategic product development and operational delivery.
- A flair for IT, able to translate business needs into clear product requirements (epics, user stories).
- Confident public speaker with creative mindset to drive for continuous innovation and product improvement.
- A proactive, results driven team player who embraces change, innovation, integrity, driving and delivering multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
