Overview

We have a requirement for an Automation/Controls Package Manager for a large Pharmaceutical Construction project in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities Safety
  • Prioritize safety and health of all persons on or visiting the site.
  • Support the Construction Manager and promote compliance with safety and environmental plans.
  • Coach workforce on safety practices.
  • Complete SORs and SPA audits weekly.
  • Participate in safety audits and meetings.
  • Review contractors' method statements, SPAs, permits, and provide safety feedback.
  • Coordinate with commissioning during turnover.
Scope
  • Familiar with contract scope, technical documentation, and project schedule.
Coordination
  • Monitor daily contractor activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost adherence.
  • Manage contractor meetings and reports.
  • Coordinate work with other teams and stakeholders.
Quality
  • Ensure implementation of quality plans.
  • Conduct inspections and witness tests.
  • Manage documentation and non-conformance issues.
Commercial
  • Understand contract details and scope changes.
  • Review claims and variations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications in engineering or project management preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in large-scale construction management.
  • Experience in industrial sectors like life sciences, food, data centers.
  • Strong health and safety standards experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
