Red Nucleus is hiring a Market Access & Commercialization Principal or Senior Principal to join our global team. This role is based out of our London, UK office.

How You Will Contribute
As a Principal within MACS at Red Nucleus, you will have a pivotal leadership role at the center of a successful global consulting organization, joining a team which has extensive experience in consulting, in industry, and as payers. As part of the MACS division, you will be assisting biopharmaceutical, device and diagnostic companies - and potentially financial, legal and investment firms - to maximize commercial success through the highest calibre analysis, research and strategic problem solving
The ideal candidate is a highly-driven individual with superb communication and networking skills across all stakeholder levels, energized by a core role expectation to develop senior-level external relationships and sell profitable projects while continually refining and expanding the MACS value proposition to stay one step ahead of the evolving needs of our clients.
The Principal harnesses deep capabilities and knowledge in global pricing & market access and in the key pharmaceutical issues that form the context for our clients' challenges to successfully deliver high-impact client engagements, leveraging a range of qualitative and quantitative insight techniques to address pricing & market access strategy questions for clients.
In addition to the substantial expectations for business development, project sales and client delivery, this role is also defined by being an inspiring, effective leader within the organization, moving nimbly between helming multiple project teams in an extremely fast-paced, challenging environment and shaping the vision and strategic direction for the MACS team - plugged-in, people-focused and fully invested in building a thriving team and culture.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and exceed a yearly sales target of $1M
- Spearhead proposal development and client pitches to drive business development
- Develop sales strategies to drive new consulting engagements and achieve quarterly targets
- Proactively find new opportunities and leads, building and maintaining relationships with a strong client network
- Supervising and supporting multiple tandem project teams to ensure top-quality work, well-structured engagements and highly satisfied clients
- Conduct strategic primary research interviews geared to extract key insights for strategic client recommendations
- Effective line management and staff coaching
- Ignite strategic organizational thinking and content creation
- Drive firm building activities, including driving development of thought leadership and intellectual capital activities, internal capability building, and development of new methodologies and offerings
About You
- You will already have a significant, proven track record within a life-science consulting environment. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant pricing and market access consulting experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience leading client interactions and project teams, with demonstrable business development/sales experience in the life science consulting space
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, business or related field is required; master's/Ph.D. strongly preferred
- You will exhibit formidable technical P&MA knowledge and a detailed understanding of key market systems
