HGV Class 2 Driver

Salary: £14 - 20 per hour

ARC is looking for experienced HGV class 2 multidrop drivers for our client in the Birmingham area for an ongoing role.

This HGV class 2 driving role is a local multidrop role that will include delivering pallatised good to high street stores, it is an ongoing contract which will run for the next 4.5 years. The ideal candidate will be experienced in multidrop in and around the Birmingham area preferably to high street stores, due to the nature of this job the candidate will need to be physically fit and as it is a customer facing role will need to be polite and well presented with a good sense of personal hygiene.

The Role:

HGV Class 2 Driving
Ongoing work (Mon to Fri, occasional Saturday if wanted)
Morning starts (05:30)
Approx 12h shifts (Min 10hrs pay)
Tail lift/Pallet truck work
Local High Street deliveries
10 - 12 drops per day

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 2 years HGV class 2 driving experience in UK
Valid UK driving licence with C catagory
Valid CPC qualifications
Valid driver tachograph card
No more than 6 points
No DD, DR, CD or IN codes on licence
Physically fit
Good sense of personal hygiene
Good attitude towards work
Good use of the English language
Must be polite

Rates of pay:

PAYE - £14ph or £15.68 with holiday pay included in the rate
LTD - £18ph
