Senior Manager - International Tax (FDI)

About the role

Our Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) team is the leading, largest and only dedicated international tax practice in Ireland. We work with international companies across all sectors investing in Ireland, helping them with a wide range of Irish and international tax matters. The team has 11 Partners and over 100 professionals working with diverse clients from start ups to many of the world's largest multinational companies.

What you will do

• Discuss potential innovative projects with clients linked to economic, business and technical reality to help them grow in the market.
• Analyse how to transform their business and develop and select innovative solutions.
• Build a professional network, manage client relationships, and discover business opportunities with innovative companies.
• Train junior and senior staff, promote a learning culture, provide mentorship and guidance.
• Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
• Embrace the digital evolution in our business and at clients, familiarise yourself with these evolutions and drive these technologies further in our day to day business.
• Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.
• Work on attracting, developing and retaining the best talent for the firm.

Who we are looking for

• At least 8 years of experience in tax consulting related to international aspects, and the ability to handle financial and tax issues facing multinational groups.
• AITI/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong academic record.
• Commercial awareness and ability to develop business opportunities to generate growth within FDI and the firm.
• Strong relationship management skills - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality and diverse relationships.
• Creative mindset - develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Leadership experience - demonstrate strong commitment to developing yourself, your team members, your clients and your business.
