Senior Fraud Analytics Manager

The Senior Fraud Analytics Manager leads the fraud analytics team and manages fraud platforms to ensure rules and systems are optimised to detect fraud.
The senior manager leads on Metro Bank's fraud platforms so that operational teams can manage volumes, detection rates are within appetite, false positive rates are industry aligned, and systems can detect the latest threats, to enable the bank to mitigate risk across all fraud types, channels and products.
What you will do:- Develop and implement systems and analytic models to detect and prevent fraud across all channels, products and fraud types
- Design, build and implement existing and new fraud prevention solutions for all fraud typologies
- Continuously optimise the anti-fraud platforms that protect Metro Bank's customers from fraud and scams
- Analyse fraud trends to optimise fraud strategies, identify potential solutions to fraud threats and risk and drive mitigating actions
- Lead on the development of new and existing fraud platforms to further deliver value.
- Work with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers and third parties to ensure a clear view on our systems performance and impacts to our customers.
- Collaborate on bank-wide change initiatives that influence fraud systems or provide strategic support for bank-wide transformations impacting fraud systems
- Own and oversee all fraud models, ensuring they adhere to the bank's model governance standards.
- Provide SME expertise for fraud prevention and detection systems and capabilities.
- Within the department and wider bank, lead on ensuring risks are mitigated with existing systems, sharing what is possible with existing suppliers and new tools.
- Support the transformational activity across the department to ensure robust detection and prevention systems are in place.
- Represent Metro Bank at senior industry committees and forums for fraud analytics.
- Work with risk teams to ensure models, rulesets and systems are effective and meet requirements, governance and regulation.
- Keep up to date on the latest fraud trends and technologies in data analytics and fraud detection.

What you will need:- Significant experience as a leader within Fraud Analytics at a senior level within banking or other financial services
- A track record managing teams in a financial institution as a recognised industry expert, including engagement with the regulators and peers in financial services and other relevant sectors.
- Experience of delivering fraud systems to reduce fraud losses and protect customers from falling victim to frauds and scams.
- Fraud analytics experience including data analysis, strategy development for fraud prevention and detection working in financial services.
- Highly analytical and data literate with a demonstrated ability to solve problems through logical thinking.
- Skilled at delivering fraud analytical systems in a fraud department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively at all levels.
- Transformational change agent with an ability to deliver change into operational processes.
- Ability to forecast and manage resources against demand, assessing impact and measuring and tracking outcomes and benefits.
- Skilled in system optimisation and strategy transformation including robotics/automation.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders as a senior leadership and C-Suite level.
