Job Title: Senior Finance Manager, EMEA (Emerging Markets)


A little bit about our team:
The Recorded Music (RM) Finance Department at WMG is responsible for handling the worldwide financial operations of the company's recorded music businesses. The Emerging Markets (EM) team are responsible for growing and dynamic markets where WMG operations have been recently established. In these markets, the EM team are looking to establish a tangible presence, capitalising on the local trajectory through marketing of international roster and signing new artists, as well as looking for investment opportunities.

Your role:
The EM Finance department's purpose is to provide support to local finance teams as well as central EMEA Finance. This includes internal financial reporting (month end processes, forecasting, budgeting), financial analysis and modelling, assisting with royalty statement generation and AP/AR functions, as well as ad hoc reporting to senior management.
Key markets to service include MENA, Africa and India, including all sub entities, with particular focus on the MENA and Turkey affiliates due to local finance team size. The Senior Finance Manager will report to the EM Finance Director.

Here you'll get to:


Financial Reporting and Analysis
You will ensure accurate financial reporting across the relevant entities, including monthly reporting submissions and annual budgets (including P&L, Cash, Budgets, Balance Sheets, along with completion of Supplementary Reporting Schedules).
You will ensure best practices, processes, procedures and internal controls are followed.
You will drive the forthcoming introduction of a new ERP system across the region.
Oversight of all financial processes and submissions, including AP, AR (operated in conjunction with local finance teams in territory), working capital management within Middle East and Turkey entities
You will work alongside local management teams to ensure sound financial operation and viability of business units, including but not limited to management of ongoing budgets and modelling of new artist deals.
You will work closely with local finance, WMG and external, to submit local Statutory Tax accounts.


Artist Accounting
You will assist local teams with their artist royalty accounting alongside the central EMEA royalty resource


New Business
You will be involved in the scoping, modelling, and implementation of new business in applicable territories.
You will review artist models created by local finance teams, ultimately presenting to management for approval


Ad Hoc Analysis
You will assist with Ad Hoc Financial reporting and analysis: typical exercises can include performance analysis related to artists, tracks, regions or markets.

About you:
You have at least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree, numerical degree preferred.
You have 2+ Years experience post qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
You have Comparable financial experience.
You are highly motivated, independent and collaborative task finisher with a excellent work ethic.
You have strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically in a fast-paced environment, within time constraints and deadlines.
You have the capacity to work on projects concurrently and prioritise effectively.
You are comfortable working and solutioning in ambiguous situations
You have good interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff from around the world.
You are highly proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, predominantly Excel. Experience using Oracle (HFM/GFS) preferred.
You have passion for the music industry
