We're Hiring: Senior Engineer Electrical Installations (E-installaties)


Location: The Netherlands (near Rotterdam) Full-time.


Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the lead in designing cutting-edge building installations? We're looking for a Senior Engineer E-installaties who combines technical depth with leadership skills and project ownership.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work on a variety of complex and meaningful building projects. You'll play a central role in design, calculation, coordination, and quality assurance ensuring technical excellence from concept to completion.


Your Responsibilities:


As a Senior Engineer, you will:

  • Independently design building-related electrical installations (2D/3D) in compliance with relevant regulations and standards (NEN, ISSO, etc.).
  • Prepare design documentation at DO-level (Definitive Design).
  • Perform key calculations (ventilation, heat load, lighting, cable sizing, rainwater systems).
  • Estimate costs and develop detailed price calculations.
  • Review and assess third-party designs and documentation.
  • Guide junior engineers, modelers, and interns.
  • Visit project sites to conduct measurements and surveys.
  • Oversee technical coordination of sub-projects when necessary.
  • Support permit application processes and monitor project planning milestones.
  • Collaborate actively in project team meetings, internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery quality, documentation handover, and aftercare.


Your Profile:


  • A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch building regulations and standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit/Mep, StabiCad, and calculation tools (e.g., VABI, Dialux, Intelec).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
  • In possession of a VCA-Basic Safety certificate.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
