Senior Data & Tooling Specialist - Hilversum (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Data and Tooling Specialist to join a fast-paced, data-driven operations environment focused on elevating business performance across EMEA.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the expert in all things data and tooling to enhance POS/bookings reporting and build scalable, low-maintenance tools that strengthen business reviews, meeting effectiveness, and "insights to action." The role focuses on translating business needs into practical Airtable workflows and executive-ready dashboards, enabling faster preparation, clearer decisions, and consistent follow-through.

This team is dedicated to improving execution, reporting, and decision-making by transforming data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and build scalable tools that enable high-impact business reviews and operational excellence.

2. Responsibilities

• Optimize and automate weekly and quarterly reporting (POS, bookings, RSV trends)
• Build scalable, low-maintenance tools to improve insights, reporting, and follow-up
• Design and implement Airtable workflows as a central operating system for meetings, actions, and decisions
• Develop executive-ready dashboards and "insights to action" reporting frameworks
• Reduce manual work through automation (notifications, reminders, status tracking)
• Translate business needs into data models, workflows, and dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and seamless integration across systems
• Support governance, reporting consistency, and meeting effectiveness

3. Role Requirements

• Strong experience in data tools, automation, and dashboarding (eg, Airtable, Tableau, SQL/DataBricks)
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions
• Experience with reporting automation and process optimization
• Analytical mindset with strong data validation and QA skills
• Ability to create executive-level insights and clear decision frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal training
• Experience building scalable, user-friendly systems ("easy to run, hard to break")

• Duration: Temp contract until the end of the year (renewable)
